Abby Kinkella, PA-C is a board-certified physician assistant certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and a graduate of the Augusta University Physician Assistant program. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Valdosta State University, where she also completed minors in Chemistry and Spanish. She also obtained certification in Spanish for healthcare professionals and enjoys caring for patients whose primary language is Spanish.
She has over five years of experience practicing family medicine in the Augusta area and enjoys providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages. She has a strong interest in preventive care and chronic disease management, including conditions such as diabetes and hypertension, as well as mental health. She values the opportunity to practice family medicine because it allows her to build long-term relationships with patients while helping them improve their health through prevention, education, and personalized care.
Originally from Augusta, she enjoys serving and investing in her local community. In her free time, she mentors physician assistant students through Medical Campus Outreach (MCO) and has participated in medical mission trips to Peru. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active with cycling and strength training, baking sourdough and experimenting with new recipes, traveling, and spending time outdoors. She also enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends.
