
Dr. Jones completed her residency in Family Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia. She obtained her medical degree from the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. She graduated summa cum laude from Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts with a major in mathematics and a minor in dance. Her decision to pursue a career in medicine was strongly influenced by an undergraduate experience working with a pediatrician in Tanzania.
She provides primary care for children and adults and has particular interests in women’s health, newborn and well child care, adolescent medicine, hypertension, heart disease, diabetes and migraine. She is a strong advocate for the importance of vaccines for vaccine-preventable diseases and she follows the vaccination guidelines of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
She is originally from Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and now lives in Evans with her husband, her two daughters, and her two dogs. She is a member of a local church. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking and being outdoors.
Her hobbies include ballet and acoustic guitar.
